Design Highlights

The DC-3221 is shaped by a single continuous curve. The backrest rises from the seat in one unbroken arc, rounding at the top before returning to meet the frame — a gesture that is both enclosing and open. Two small cut-outs at the base of the back interrupt the upholstery just enough to lighten the form, preventing the chair from reading as heavy despite its full coverage. The Nordic Mélange textile carries the curve without resistance, its woven texture shifting tone as the light moves across it. Four tapered steel legs in matte black anchor the chair to the floor with quiet precision. The DC-3221 works equally well pulled up to a co-working table or placed at the edge of a hotel dining space — a chair that does not demand attention, but holds it.
