Design Highlights

The BC-67 is built around a single design decision: a high wrap-back shell that rises above the seat and opens at the rear, creating a silhouette that is at once enclosing and light. The upholstered shell holds the body with quiet lateral support, while the open cut-out behind the backrest prevents the form from becoming heavy. Four slender tapered legs in matte black carry the chair with minimal visual weight — the footrest rail follows the same line, completing the composition without interrupting it.

• Wrap-Back Shell: The high upholstered backrest wraps around the sides of the seat, providing lateral support while the rear cut-out keeps the silhouette open and light.
• Open Cut-Out Detail: The negative space between backrest and seat is a deliberate design element — reducing visual mass and distinguishing the BC-67 from fully enclosed shell stools.
• Tapered Metal Frame: 25mm-to-16mm tapered round tube in matte black powder coat — slender proportions that read well at bar height without competing with the upholstered shell.
• Tone-on-Tone Upholstery: Shell and seat share the same fabric surface, creating a unified material register across the full height of the stool.
