The BC-178 is a counter stool defined by its wing-back silhouette — two upholstered panels that rise from the seat, taper inward at the centre, and flare outward at the top, creating a backrest that feels both architectural and embracing. The open cut-out between seat and backrest lifts the form visually, preventing the stool from reading as heavy despite its generous proportions. Wrapped in SANTI woven fabric, the surface carries a fine structured texture that shifts subtly between warm and cool tones as light moves across it. The tone-on-tone chalk frame recedes quietly, letting the distinctive wing profile carry the room.
